This is the first retinol product I’ve tried and I was slightly concerned in case I had any reaction. I’m pleased to say that I haven’t had any issues and my skin has been much improved since I started using this product about a month ago. Although I’m in my late 50s, I have acne prone skin but I’ve seen a noticeable decrease in the amount of new breakouts. So far I’m delighted.

I have used retinol products for a long time and while I do think they work they are very pricey. This retinol serum does the job very nicely and is not over-priced. A little goes a long way. I am 73 years old with normal skin and I can use this every night with no break-outs or redness. I am looking at some other products in the Habitual Skin range.

Great products, I've been using retinol for a few yrs now, but recently changed my usual brand to habitual after reading good reviews ,I must say so far I'm really pleased with the results .my skin feels softer to the touch and appears to have a glow ,I've been using two products of habitual hyaluronic acid along with the retinol ,I can honestly say great products , and anyone in there fifties like myself give it a try youll be impressed thankyou habitual . jackie o happy customer x

I have only given one start, that’s was the only option I could choose because I had to return it as it.
Unfortunately it was not suitable for my skin I have allergies and it caused an allergic reaction. But wish I could have used it as it was beautifully packaged and looked a great product.

This is my 2nd bottle of the serum. 1 pump will do your face so even though it's very expensive it will last a couple of months.. I also use a retinol face cream from another brand so I'm sure they're both working to plump my skin. A friend I've not seen for a couple of months said my skin looks great for our ages (I'm 54) and that it looks plumper (I have got a naturally skinny shape which is great when young but you look more saggy when you get older)
So. I'll continue buying when I can afford it.
I'm sure the price tag could be lowered guys

I like the texture of the serum, it feels more like a gel and is not at all greasy. It absorbs well and I've not had any issues with pilling when applying a moisturizer afterwards. I used it nightly for only about 2 weeks (5 days on/2 off) and then got off my skin care routine, unfortunately, 2 weeks wasn't long enough to see major results or changes (my fault, not the product). I look forward to getting back on my routine. And of course I LOVE that this is cruelty free and vegan!

Haven't been using the retinol serum for long but it's already become an essential in my nighttime skin routine. Clever design and packaging allows for delivery of the perfect size drop that smooths on beautifully immediately leaving my skin feel better. Obviously a couple of weeks isn't long enough to see results, but I know that retinol is a must have for my aging skin and I really do love this one. I have sensitive skin and had no reactions at all when using this. Would totally recommend it, so much so bought another one for my sister

To be honest not convinced yet. I've now been using this every night for a 6 weeks. Having worst spot outbreaks ever.. and I'm 49! My skin seems to tolerate it well enough, but the spots are like teenage acne. It's very depressing tbh

Not having used a serum before, not sure what to expect it to feel like. I do find that it soaks into the skin very quickly, I feel like its a race to get it rubbed in everywhere before it has disappeared. I am not very happy about that. I think there is an improvement in the smoothness of my face, but in all honesty I will try another serum next time to compare.

I really wanted to love this product, and I can see from the reviews that it has been amazing for many others. I did a lot of research about retinols before purchasing and was so excited to try this product. I have been using for ~12 weeks now, and due to having sensitive skin, I bought my use of this product in gradually. Unfortunately, what I thought was the classic retinol purge has continued and my skin has gradually gotten worse over time; with more and more breakouts. The only place I am not breaking out is my forehead and I don’t use this on my forehead as I am using prescription retinol on my forehead, not this serum. I feel disappointed and think I will discontinue use with this serum given the results :(

I’ve been using the retinol every night for over two months now. After cleansing and toning I apply only one drop, it absorbs so quickly which I like and doesn’t feel tight on my skin. Being 76 I haven’t really noticed a reduction in fine lines but hopefully will slow down the aging process.

I have used many retinol products over the years, but the Habitual retinol is the most effective! I have noticed my skin texture has improved, particularly my large pores, which are definitely smaller. My 61 year old wrinkles have softened considerably. I’m very pleased that this product has not caused any adverse reactions, I.e redness, flaky skin. I would highly recommend Habitual for first time users of retinol, or for those who have been using other brands for years. You won’t be disappointed!!!

I started using the habitual retinol serum as I am turning 40 next year and felt that I needed something to help with fine lines so needed something in addition to my normal skin care routine! I started off slowly and introduced it every couple of days and I now use it each night alongside the hyaluronic Acid and really love what it has done for my skin. It removes anything stuck in your pores so you may have a small breakout initially but once it clears your skin is left feeling really soft and glowy and I found the fine lines around my eyes have softened. I would definitely recommend this product not only does it do what it says it is also great value for money in comparison to other expensive brands that don't work as well

I started to use this in May 2023 because the ingredients are dermatologist recommended. I cannot believe the difference in my skin already after such a short space of time. It will take a few more months to fully see the effects but my skin is glowing and I have purchased almost all the other products they offer including the Rriple VitaminC, hyraulonic acid, dave and neck cream, and peptide eye cream. I used to have awful dark circles under my eyes and dull skin. I am over the moon with the results from this brand. Great for skin of colour too. 5 star from me.
